Enigma6 Call of Duty team recently competed at 2017 CWL Anaheim Open taking place in Anaheim, California from June 16th – 18th. Coming into the event with the new roster of General, Kade, Nick,and Royalty, Enigma6 was looking to dominate and gain momentum heading into Stage 2 of the Global Pro League, as well as the CWL Championship in August. To start off the event, Enigma6 had seen the pool play draw for this event place us into Pool A with Splyce, Rise Nation, Cloud 9, and Lethal Gaming to be later added through the open bracket qualifier. Enigma6 took the lead in Pool A finishing 3-1 in match count to end up facing off against Evil Geniuses in the Winner Bracket. After going back and forth, the intense series would end as Enigma6 would fall 2-3 dropping them down into the Loser’s Bracket early in the weekend. Enigma6 Group would however end up facing off against Team Kailber only to send Team Kaliber out of the tournament after winning the series 3-2. After coming off a tough series against Team Kaliber, Enigma6 next opponent would be OpTic Gaming. Enigma6 started off the series with both hardpoint wins but OpTic Gaming forced them into Game Five which lead in Throwback Search and Destroy. However, after an epic performance Enigma6 knocked out OpTic Gaming and moved on to play Splyce. Unfortunately, Enigma6 would be taken down by Splyce 1-3 ending the team’s weekend with Enigma6 placing 5th at the event. Although unable to bring home the first-place finish, Enigma6 Call of Duty will now be preparing for the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
